Important Update to Our Billing Policy Effective 21/02/2026.
We remain committed to supporting our community, and patients who hold a Pension Card, Health Care Card, and children under 16 years of age will continue to be bulk billed between 8:00 AM and 3:50 PM (Monday to Friday).
Please note:
Walk-in and phone consultations will be privately billed for all ages. All procedures will also be privately billed.
Patients who do not attend their appointment or arrive late without providing at least 4 hours’ notice will be charged a $40 DNA (Did not Attend) fee.
Each doctor at Warwick Medical Centre has a slightly different billing policy. We encourage all patients to read your preferred doctor's bio to ensure you understand their individual billing arrangements before booking.

Non-Medicare card holders - Billing Policy
All non-Medicare card holders required to present any ID proof instead of their Medicare Card.
All the consultation fees are required to be paid upfront before seeing the doctor.
Walk in policy
We have a walk-in clinic available every day.
The availability of the walk in depending on the doctor’s availability and appointment load.
There could be a little wait for the walk-in appointments.
There is a private fee for all walk-in- anytime of the day. Please call clinic to find out more about the fees.
S8 drug- policy
At the Warwick Medical Centre and Skin Clinic, our S8 drug policy priorities patient safety and compliance with legal regulations.
Only qualified healthcare professionals are authorised to prescribe and dispense Schedule 8 (S8) medications, ensuring careful consideration of medical necessity and patient risk factors.
We do not prescribe S8 medications to new patients upon their initial visit, as we prioritise establishing a comprehensive medical history and assessing individual needs before considering such prescriptions. Patients receiving S8 medications receive thorough education on proper usage and disposal, while stringent documentation, monitoring, and secure storage protocols are maintained to prevent misuse or diversion.
Continuous review and communication among staff and patients ensure adherence to best practices in S8 medication management, fostering a safe and responsible healthcare environment.
