Dr Howl has been practising as a doctor in Australia since 2006 and has special interests in chronic disease management, skin cancer medicine, emergency medicine, sexual health and women’s health including family planning and support for all aspects of reproductive health and menopause management.

Dr Howl provides the following services:

• After hours appointments
• Skin / mole checks
• Biopsy and excision of skin lesions
• Cryotherapy (freezing) for warts, skin tags and other lesions
• IUD (Mirena / Kyleena) insertions and removals
• Implanon insertions and removals
• Medical termination of pregnancy (before 9 weeks)
• Iron infusion
• Venesection for haemochromatosis
• Steroid injection into joints
• Medicals for sports, employment, commercial driving license, firearms license

Services not offered:

• Centrelink-related matters
• Prescriptions for benzodiazepines (eg valium)
• ADHD assessments (can provide referral to Paediatrician or Psychiatrist)
• Complex mental health management

Dr Howl is a private-billing GP; however, he will bulk-bill children under 17 years of age, patients aged 67 and over with a pension card, and veterans.

NOTE:
Failure to cancel appointments at least 4 hours prior will result in a DNA (Did Not Attend) fee of $40. All outstanding accounts must be settled prior to booking any further appointments.
